Hoof-Tite HOT is the next generation of blocking adhesive. Developed by hoof trimmer for hoof trimmer! Hoof-Tite HOT, 220 ml is ment to be used when temperatures are going to 18 degrees or more and is used to adhere wooden or rubber blocks to the claw of a bovine hoof to relieve pressure on the opposite claw for a professional claw treatment.
Hoof-Tite HOT adhesive was developed in cooperation with hoof trimmer and is a urethane adhesive with a 2-component cartridge.
The Hoof-Tite HOT glue is made on special request for all clients which are now working with the Hoof-Tite COLD. The cartridge and the mixing tips are the same as used for the Hoof-Tite COLD.
Hoof-Tite HOT, 220 ml is ment to be used when temperatures are going to 18 degrees or more. Lower temperatures is also possible, but we strongly advice the use of a hot box if the temperature is below 15/18 degrees.
The Hoof-Tite HOT glue surpasses its competition with a much stronger bond and better density level than other urethane adhesives. The hoof trimmer can effectively adhere shoes, wooden or rubber blocks to the claw, fill damages or cracks, and reconstruct the hoof wall.
Features such as a dual chamber and the Mixing Tip System ensure an effective cross-contamination, an easy and waste-free usage and time and money savings with an innovative, no-mixing system. In addition, one cartridge holds 220 ml glue to provide the hoof trimmer with a maximum amount of glue but ensures easy handling; reduced preparation time of small-sized cartridges.
The Hoof-Tite HOT adhesive is available with or without a dispensing gun and one cartridge (220 ml) includes the accessories for around 8-10 applications (depending on the size of the claw, block and the experience of the hoof trimmer).
Thanks to referrals, the quality of the product and the fair price, CowCare strongly recommends the Hoof-Tite adhesive.

Instructions for use
First, place the 220ml cartridge into the Hoof-Tite Applicator Gun or similar 200/220ml gun. Now, remove the fastener on the cartridge and connect the Hoof-Tite HOT and COLD Mixing Tip. Equalize the cartridge by pointing the cartridge straight up; then squeeze the handle to remove any air bubbles.
Now, eject a small amount of glue. This must be done so that the two components mix as optimally as possible. Now, apply a bead of the Hoof-Tite HOT onto the block. Place the block quickly onto the pre-prepared, clean and dry, healthy claw. A heat gun can be used to dry the claw.
After around 30 seconds, the glue will have set, and after around 2-3 minutes, the claw can weight-bear again. For the greatest result, the claw must be clean and dry. Leave the mixing tip in place until the next use. Replace with a new mixing tip before each new exercising.
A well-prepared claw contributes to a good and stable adhesion of the adhesive. The claw can also be roughened to increase the adhesive power. The used mixing tip may remain on the cartridge after use. The glue in the mixing tip cures and seals the cartridge. For the next application, a new mixing tip must be used. When pressing the block against the claw, do not work with too much pressure, as the adhesive layer will otherwise become too thin and no optimal adhesive bond can be created.
